Benteng hati

Assalamualaikum.

Tapi adakah sekadar khatam? Atau adakah bila kita berjaya khatam Alquran di bulan ramadhan, rasa macam woah mission accomplished yeay boleh sambung hidup macam biasa?

Jadi apa signifikan 'peng-khatam-an' ini?

Apa keadaan hati kita sebenarnya. Takut.

It's exhilarating that i just came to realize the loveliness of surah Al-Ahzab. My tilawah today is that particular surah. How sweet is it, Allah offers His love and bless on those who are striving the endless battle to put their heart in state. Allah knows that there's laying a tough strain to keep our heart purified and to no t be intervened from any form of uninvited substances and residues. Those unwanted worldly pleasures and shadows distorting the actual image of gaining His love and redha. Truly an intrusion that we ourselves are not capable to combat with. Prior to that, Allah states in surah Al-Ahzab the dos and donts to give us a proper guidance relative to setting standards or perhaps determining a course of our daily action according to His.

Firstly,
If the sahabahs wanted or maybe had a business to talk to Rasulullah's wives, Allah says it is preferably better to speak behind a curtain (hijab). Why? Because it would be more proper for the sahabahs and for them. And in the other ayat, it states that Allah knows what lies inside our heart when we are about to have something to talk to the opposite gender. The ways syaitan will mislead our heart and made it beguiled are absolutely scary. It shivers me more as we dont even know how, and when syaitan will make their move. And to write this, it gives me chills and shudders because we, human, are completely unresistant towards that kind of captivation. Syaitan will entrap us and suddenly we realize that our heart has been endangered thus resolving it to a definitely hard wrestle to keep it in state and to 'disinfect' it all over again.

So,
On to of that, Allah proposes a very great deal. He promises the Garden of al-'Adn and tender us an unimaginary bounties for our struggles to attain 'taqwa'. That's the key to unravel the mysteries our heart made. Yes. It is a continous battle. To gain taqwa and to not getting lured by the false pleasures.

"Aku berlindung denganMu daripada bisikan syaitan. Dan daripada mereka mendatangiku"

Allah knows we are hurt so much, Allah knows we cried a lot when the unwanted desires or feelings invaded us, Allah also knows way too well that we've tried. Yasmin Mogahed said, to attain true pleasures is to detach from false pleasures. True.

Moving on,
Allah also broach a sensible perspective of having a woman as a wife. (Oh, dont get me wrong. This is not kursus kahwin punya post. I got another point to highlight from this) Okay. In surah Al-Ahzab, it is well-advised to choose a woman with iman and good qualities over who is not, although her beauty stuns and enchants us in every sense of acts. Why? Because to be charmed merely by physical appearance is lust, and reckoning to consider over internal qualities regardless the look is a taqwa measure and valuate. Which, people nowadays ceases to have.

Then, how to acquire that ability of viewing things/people in the standard of taqwa? Truly, it is to persistently clutch our heart onto Him, asking Him to constantly assist us to decontaminate the stain we accidentaly having. Unintended. Maybe. Perhaps every each subtle nuances is significant to be purified in order to perceive things in the better measure.

Oh Allah assist us well to always remember You, and to obey You

It was such a deep cogitation over this. I thank Him for still letting me to have the bits of consciousness to contemplate His words. And to keep letting me to feel that. Ameen. I ask God to cleanse my soul of sins and defects.

After all the detours, bring us back ya rabb.

"Whoever purifies himself, does so for his own good" (Faatir: 18)

Semoga Ramadhan ini titik pemula yang baru. Sinar, sentiasa ada buat kita pendosa.
Ramadhan kareem.
